MIXLO LOWDOWN: AN INDUSTRY NIGHT TO EXPLORE DEMOCRATIZING THE DENVER MUSIC INDUSTRY
Join us for an industry night built for Denver's independent artists, DJs, and event organizers. Hosted by Mixlo, Feral Creatives Kollektiv Society, Java Jams, The Incubator, and Town Hall Collaborative, this free evening blends education, networking, and live performance.
We'll kick things off with free pizza (while supplies lasts) and a community-facilitated panel on democratizing the music industry, followed by an overview of Mixlo — the location-based platform built for local discovery, ticketing, and streaming — plus a live Q&A with the Mixlo team.
Then, settle in for two hours of live local sets headlined by DERTEEDISCO, with our DJ contest winners taking the stage as opening and closing support. Expect artist resources, raffle prizes (think media/PR packages and event tickets), and a room full of Denver's creative community.

Feral Creatives Kollektiv Society (FCKS) is a Denver-based arts, music, + media collective sparking connection at the intersection of community, creativity, and local sound. Born out of a desire to infuse doses of creative ferality with local talent, we create immersive, vibrant experiences that spark creativity, connection + joy. Rooted in our "#stayferal" ethos, we empower local artists, small businesses, local venues, and change-makers in the scene to showcase their unique work, build belonging, and strive to co-create spaces where creativity is playful, unexpected, inclusive, and transformative. Sometimes it's deeply serious work. And sometimes it's very unhinged, unserious work, but nonetheless a reminder to folks of what it means to return to themselves in a relentlessly feral, authentic manner through art, sound, community, presence, and surprise. Behind the scenes, Feral Creative Media is our in-house creative agency — building brand systems, strategies, websites, and social media know-how for mission-driven organizations and artists, and producing the FCKS Podcast, where we sit down with DJs, collectives, venue owners, and other ferally inspired people for rapid-fire conversations (always closing with "what does feral mean to you?"). FCKS strives to create not only for aesthetics, but for belonging.
